To strengthen our Africa and South America team in Berlin, preferably starting at 1 April 2020 and with full-time employment, limited until 30 June 2020 we are looking for an individual qualified for the position of:

Intern Africa and South America (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Support in the development and implementation of internal and external communication work on the Amazon
  • Help with the creation of country profiles and project fact sheets
  • Answering inquiries and creating texts
  • Political, socio-economic background research
  • Support in the organisation and implementation of events

Required qualifications:

  • Advanced Master's degree (at least 4 semesters) in environmental sciences
  • Experience working in conservation and peacebuilding in Latin America
  • Link to and/or direct experience in Colombia, Latin America
  • Results-oriented professional with demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic analysis and solutions to emerging environmental and social challenges.
  • Adaptable, flexible team player and versatile with demonstrated ability to perform in culturally diverse situations
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and German
  • Good experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PPT)
