On 15 October 2025, the networking event “On the Finish Line Towards EUDR: Challenges & Opportunities for Effective Implementation” took place in Berlin as part of the FONEI working group on deforestation-free soy supply chains. Representatives from politics, business and civil society came together to discuss challenges and opportunities to achieve an effective and impactful EUDR implementation with a focus on Brazilian-German soy supply chains. Topics central to the EUDR, such as legality and traceability, as well as engagement beyond the Regulation were discussed in-depth.
